There’s no minimum audience size required to apply. We review applications based on content quality, audience fit, and alignment with our brands.

The Automattic Creator Program includes two ways to earn.

Affiliates earn commissions when someone signs up for a product using their referral link within a 30-day tracking window.

Influencers collaborate with our brands on paid partnerships, sponsored content, and video integrations.

Depending on your content and channels, you may be eligible to participate in both.

Affiliates earn commissions for qualified referrals. For example, WordPress.com hosting referrals can earn up to $300 per sale, and many products offer 30–40% commissions. You can view our full commission rates, which may change over time.

Influencers earn flat fees for paid partnerships, based on the scope of the collaboration and audience reach.

Some creators participate in both programs to diversify their income.

Affiliates earn commissions for qualified referrals and can track clicks, conversions, and payouts in their creator dashboard. Payments are issued on a regular schedule based on approved conversions.

Influencer partnerships are paid directly through the creator dashboard according to the agreed campaign terms.
