Program & Product Update — May 2025

Can you believe it’s May already? As we kick off a new month, we’re excited to share a few highlights from the Program & Product teams at Automattic for Agencies.

In March, we finalized our Q2 roadmap, packed with ideas shaped directly by feedback from agencies like yours. Automattic for Agencies exists to help you grow your business, strengthen client relationships, and connect the best of Automattic’s products—and every offering we’re building is designed to support exactly that.

Here are some agency benefits we’ve shipped over the past month:

Commissions Dashboard for WooPayments

You can now easily track commissions earned across all your client sites using WooPayments. The new dashboard provides a comprehensive, quarterly birds-eye view, helping you better forecast earnings and manage client performance at scale. Learn more about WooPayments and get started directly inside the Automattic for Agencies dashboard.

"Our new WooPayments dashboard builds on the foundation of our Referrals and Migrations dashboards, giving agencies an even clearer bird’s-eye view of transaction volume on their client sites—and how it translates into additional income—all within the Automattic for Agencies portal." — Jeff Golenski, Product Manager for Automattic for Agencies

Match Me with an Agency

One of the most compelling advantages of the Automattic for Agencies program is our ability to accelerate agency growth and boost earnings by providing exclusive access to high-value, pre-qualified leads from four major Automattic brands.

Since launching last June, the Automattic for Agencies program has already delivered $1.5 million (USD) in projects to agency partners, not including the steady stream of organic leads generated through multiple agency directory listings across the Automattic ecosystem. With the recent rollout of the new “Match Me with an Agency” process in WooCommerce, WordPress.com, Pressable, and Jetpack, agencies can expect even more concierge-level client matches.

"Whenever a customer in the Automattic ecosystem needs development support, they are directed to our agency program or agency directories as the source for trusted WordPress expertise. Our new “Match Me with an Agency” process is the first step in an ongoing commitment to providing our agency partners with a steady stream of qualified leads.

Next up? Improved agency directory listings and AI-powered matching to deliver the fastest, most relevant opportunities to help agencies scale their business and reputation in the
WordPress ecosystem." — Mary Voelker, Program Manager for Automattic for Agencies

Access Core Web Vitals metrics, compare mobile and desktop scores, review loading timelines, and get actionable recommendations to help you deliver faster, more powerful sites to your clients. Learn how to improve your site’s performance on WordPress.com.

"Performance isn't just about speed—it's about respect for your visitors' time and overall experience. These metrics capture the crucial moments between intention and satisfaction, making their optimization not just technically sound, but a fundamentally critical part of the web development process." — Kristian Vitozev, Head of Engineering for Automattic for Agencies

Submitting your feedback to the Automattic for Agencies team just got easier. You can now send feature requests, report bugs, or leave general feedback directly from the user profile menu.

Plus, after key actions like sending client referrals and inviting team members, you’ll receive short prompts to share your experience. Your feedback directly shapes how we evolve our tools to support your workflows—we read every submission. Submit feedback here or click your name in the bottom left of the dashboard sidebar and choose “Provide feedback.”

"Your feedback shapes the product! Now, we’ve made it even easier for you to let us know what you think. Click your name on the bottom left of the sidebar, and you’ll see an option to provide feedback. We’re excited to shape the experience of Automattic for Agencies based your input." — Noam Almosnino, Lead Designer for Automattic for Agencies
